Solutions to common issues in DUTO.

General Issues​

Page Won't Load​

Symptoms: Blank page, loading forever, error message

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R)
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Try incognito/private window
  4. Check internet connection
  5. Try different browser

Slow Performance​

Symptoms: Lag, delayed responses, slow loading

Solutions:

  1. Close unused browser tabs
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Check internet speed
  4. Reduce workflow complexity
  5. Use smaller preview sizes

Lost Work​

Symptoms: Changes not saved, workflow missing

Solutions:

  1. Check browser's local storage
  2. Look in project history
  3. Check if auto-save is enabled
  4. Contact support with details

Flow Editor Issues​

Nodes Won't Connect​

Symptoms: Can't create connection between nodes

Causes:

  • Incompatible types
  • Already connected (single input)
  • Circular dependency

Solutions:

  1. Check handle colors (types must match)
  2. Disconnect existing connection first
  3. Ensure no circular paths
  4. Use any type handles for flexibility

Workflow Won't Run​

Symptoms: Nothing happens when clicking Run

Causes:

  • No Start node
  • Disconnected nodes
  • Configuration error

Solutions:

  1. Ensure Start node exists
  2. Check all nodes are connected
  3. Look for error indicators on nodes
  4. Check credit balance

Node Shows Error​

Symptoms: Node turns red, error message

Solutions:

  1. Click node to see error details in the inspector
  2. Check input data and connections
  3. Verify node configuration
  4. Check credit balance (credit check happens before generation)
  5. Try regenerating - credits are automatically refunded if generation fails (CreditRefundError)

Execution Stuck​

Symptoms: Workflow running but not progressing

Solutions:

  1. Wait (some operations take time)
  2. Check for infinite loops
  3. Click Stop, then restart
  4. Refresh page if unresponsive

Generation Issues​

Image Quality Poor​

Symptoms: Blurry, artifacts, wrong content

Solutions:

  1. Use higher quality model
  2. Improve prompt specificity
  3. Check aspect ratio settings
  4. Try different seed

Video Artifacts​

Symptoms: Glitches, unnatural motion

Solutions:

  1. Simplify motion description
  2. Use premium model
  3. Try shorter duration
  4. Regenerate with different seed

Character Inconsistent​

Symptoms: Character changes between shots

Solutions:

  1. Use better reference image
  2. Enable strict consistency
  3. Add detailed character description
  4. Use premium models

Prompt Not Followed​

Symptoms: Output doesn't match description

Solutions:

  1. Simplify prompt
  2. Be more specific
  3. Use premium model (better adherence)
  4. Break into essential elements

Storyboard Issues​

Generation Failed​

Symptoms: Storyboard generation stops with error

Solutions:

  1. Check concept clarity
  2. Simplify requirements
  3. Check credit balance
  4. Try again (transient errors)
  5. Contact support if persistent

Shots Not Matching Vision​

Symptoms: Generated shots don't match concept

Solutions:

  1. Be more specific in concept
  2. Add reference images
  3. Use style presets
  4. Regenerate individual shots
  5. Edit shot descriptions

Video Generation Fails​

Symptoms: Video won't generate from shot

Solutions:

  1. Check credit balance
  2. Verify hero frame exists
  3. Try different video model
  4. Simplify motion requirements

Credit Issues​

Insufficient Credits​

Symptoms: Operations fail with credit error

Solutions:

  1. Check credit balance
  2. Purchase more credits
  3. Upgrade plan
  4. Use Budget Mode

Unexpected Credit Usage​

Symptoms: Credits depleting faster than expected

Solutions:

  1. Check usage history
  2. Review what operations are running
  3. Use Budget Mode for testing
  4. Optimize workflow efficiency

Credits Not Refreshing​

Symptoms: Monthly credits didn't reset

Solutions:

  1. Check billing date
  2. Verify payment processed
  3. Check subscription status
  4. Contact support

Account Issues​

Can't Log In​

Symptoms: Login fails, Google auth issues

DUTO uses Google authentication exclusively (no email/password login).

Solutions:

  1. Ensure you are signing in with Google
  2. Check that pop-ups are not blocked
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Clear browser cookies for duto.ai
  5. Contact support if the issue persists
